Today, I am thankful for:
My daughter, who is growing up to be more beautiful on the inside each day. She impresses me with her strong character, quick wit, and sense of humor.
Shai for listening to me, and knowing me well enough to know the difference between what I’m perceiving, and what may actually be.
Shaniqua, also for listening, knowing me well, and giving it to me straight with no chaser.
That I have a love for comfort and yet a good sense of style.
That having a balanced sense of style makes me aware of what people’s clothes say about them.
Our espresso machine.
Our lovely cats.
That the price of rice and pasta at the place I buy it at the shouk, didn’t go up quite as high as it could have.
Peppercorn pasta a.k.a. p’titim.
The Arab and Druze people of Israel and Syria’s love of good olive oil, and their generosity to share and sell it to others. Yum-my!
