This one is for the ladies. Guys, just cover your eyes unless you’re really comfortable with nature, and may want to pass this info along to your American girlfriend.
As some of you may have noticed, tampons are now about $10 a pack. So it’s about time to start looking into some alternatives.

The past few months have been pretty bad for expats here who get paid in dollars. The value of our earnings has reduced by 1/4, so it has been like taking a 25% pay cut. It might get even worse. I fear we may be going back to a situation of the dollar being 1:2.5 [...]

Lag BaOmer Potatoes and Corn
Category: Today's Menu | Leave a Comment
For Lag BaOmer this year, I roasted potatoes and corn in the oven. We didn’t make a fire, but the oven did a great job.
It’s one of the best appliances I’ve ever had…a King brand oven with multiple heating settings. For Lag BaOmer, I used the circulating fan. It keeps the entire oven the same [...]

A Great Night Out
Category: Gratitude Journal | Leave a Comment
The day before yesterday, Jacuzzi came over to hang out a bit. Later that night we went out with one of her male friends. He’s a really sweet guy, and it was a very pleasant night of talking, drinking, and watching YouTube.
I’m feeling much better than I was. It was really nice to relax and [...]

Yesterday, Moon and I were having the craving for Mexican food. So I went out and splurged a little on supplies, and then made tacos and chicken fajitas.
…and of course, they were gooooooood.
I’ve noticed that the pre-mixed Mexican seasoning is phenomenally expensive…something like maybe 50 grams for 22 shekels. Prices are insane here [...]

Today’s Ten

Today, I am thankful for:
My daughter, who is growing up to be more beautiful on the inside each day. She impresses me with her strong character, quick wit, and sense of humor.
Shai for listening to me, and knowing me well enough to know the difference between what I’m perceiving, and what may actually be.
Shaniqua, also [...]

Plausible…
Category: My Love Life | Leave a Comment
Today, Feng Shui provided plausible reasons for his behavior. Time will tell whether or not he’s sincere, but he is on thin ice with me and he knows it.
So at this point he’s not dead to me, but he’s hooked up to life support.
I can’t go into detail about all of the whys that he’s [...]

You know what?
I’m being too nice again.
It’s time to drop the hammer once and for all.
From now on, Feng Shui is dead to me.
